Rewind
After seeing the pictures of Cole and Caroline in my last post, my friend Brenna sent me these old pics of Carson and her daughter Chloe at the zoo when they were much younger. Wow... I can't believe these two are going to be starting Kindergarten next year!!
When I showed Carson this picture I asked him, "Do you know who this is?" He said, "Yes.... Chloe." I said, "Who else?" His reply was a quick, "I don't want to talk about it!" HA!!!

A Glimpse of Spring
The other day we had some really great weather, so my friend Lindsey and I decided to pack up the crew and head to the Dallas Zoo. It was just a perfect day... we really enjoyed being outside.
Much love for the 'roo!

How cute are these two?

The funniest moment was at the end of the day when we were leaving. I was carrying Cole on my shoulders, and he fell fast asleep! So I walked all the way to the car balancing Cole with one hand, pushing Kennedy in the stroller with the other hand, while trying to make sure Carson was right beside me. Talk about multi-tasking!
In 3-2-1...
aaaand... he's out!

Sorry Dear Blog, to Have Deserted You for Facebook.
We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's with family and friends. There was a lot of food, fun, board games, and Wii playing.

Cole was not a fan of Santa again this year.
We gave it a second shot and he was okay as long as I was holding him.
Guitar Hero ROCKS!!!!
Kayla and Todd... board game fun!

Gotta Love the Trees
We put up a couple of Christmas trees this year. Cole says about a million times a day, "Momma - wook! wook!" (look! look!) pointing at the trees. This is a picture of him hugging one.
And these are some of the various decorations I have found in the trees from time to time, left by two little boys who like to "help" decorate whenever I turn my back. :)

The Twelve Possums
When we picked Carson up from Bible class on Sunday, he informed us that he had learned all about the "12 Possums." Ummm... not so sure his teachers would be proud of his recollection of their lesson on the 12 Apostles.
